Volunteer Work

In Allkamari Retreat Center we take on volunteers as a means of allowing those who cannot pay the full price of their retreat, to participate in a transformative process that will enable them to walk closer to nature and nurture themselves and others through active compassion. The spiritual path has nothing to do with money – but it has everything to do with sacrifice. We welcome everyone who desires to take a retreat and cannot afford it to write us a letter explaining their situation and their abilities. It will rest on our judgement to secure a balance between the work that we perform and the one that you could offer. Volunteering in Allkamari is a beautiful experience, but one ought to be ready to give themselves in body, mind and soul to the benefit of all. Hard labour in Allkamari include taking care of our animals, of our plants, of our buildings and of our guests.
