In-House Volunteers
SachaRuna Shamanic Healing Community has over 35 years of experience healing people with sacred Andean and Amazonic medicinal plants. Our head shaman and Community Founder, Miguel Kavlin has worked with masters and teachers from all over the world, including but not limiting to Peru, North America, India, Tibet and more, who have enrichened the lineages followed by our community.
We believe we are currently living through a vital moment in humanity where strong souls must unite to help create the Pachacuti and the new times.
By coming here, you will find not only an opportunity to know and learn about our culture, find healing and work with sacred medicine and ceremonies, but also you will have the possibility to live in our retreat centres. In the Andes you will find Allkamari Eco resort, our retreat centre located 40 minutes away from La Paz city, at the 13000 ft high in front of the Illimani Mountain, where you can enjoy refreshing weather while appreciating the sight of Allkamari birds flying over, vizcachas running around and the possibility to hike the Valley of the Souls and Palca canyon which are only minutes away from our centre.
Meanwhile, Wizards Mountain is our centre in the middle of the Amazonian jungle located only 15 minutes away by boat from Rurrenabaque town. There you can experience a connection to nature with a huge variety of plants and animals, natural swimming pools and meditate under waterfalls and hike nearby mountains with impressive views in the safety of our camp.
What we are looking for
- Values: Love, surrender, devotion, honesty Integrity, Responsibility, Goodwill, Proactivity, humbleness, hardwork.
- Skills: People skills, knows to follow direction, Resourceful, hospitality experience and previous volunteer experience are desirable.
- Personality: Friendly, dedicated to their path, vocation for service, commitment to heal, connect to source and serve others, desire to learn and better themselves, detail oriented.
- Areas we need help with: Cleaning and housekeeping, cooking, gardening, plumbing, electricity, general maintenance and construction/carpentry and wood working.
What we are offering
In exchange of 5 hours of work a day, 6 days a week, and USD 125 per week we are offering:
- Accommodation in either Allkamari or Wizard´s Mountain.
- While in our centers, all meals are included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.*
- 4 ceremonies a month, as well as participation in various activities (guided meditations and yoga or movement classes). Volunteers that desire to participate in more ceremonies a month can do so with a 50% discount **
** Other ceremonies, massages, muscle activation, Cosmoenergy sessions and tarot readings and trips/pilgrimages have extra cost.

Online Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers who want to engage in expanding the Andes & Amazonian Sacred Medicine message.
The task
The given task will be to basically to post and forums and social media platforms on a weekly base. Those interested will have to share their experiences, insights and advices for the people who still haven’t made contact with the culture, but are looking forward to doing so.
My retribution
As a retribution the volunteers will have a special discount in ceremonies and/or retreats.
