Head Shaman & Founder of SachaRuna
Miguel Kavlin is the founder of our community, has for over 40 years served with love, devotion and surrender for hundreds of people in Bolivia. Argentina, Europe, United States and Canada. He diligently practices and applies the teachings he received from various traditions. He has learned from the following masters: Babaji Baldev Singh, Sikh Saint from India; Beautiful Painted Arrow, Native American Visionary; Don Agustin Rivas Vasquez, Amazonian Ayahuasquero; Don Policarpio Flores Apaza, Andean Wisdom-holder; Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, Tibetan Dzogchen Master, Sifu Kenny Gong, internal martial arts master; Ladji Camara, African Dance and drum master from Burkina Faso. Miguel Kavlin has gone out of his way to become a clear channel for the divine presence allowing it to touch everyone’s heart and heal everyone’s soul without feeding mental dramas.

Resident Shaman at the Amazon Retreat Center
Born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Julio lived his entire life in love with science and technology, trying to fulfill an insatiable desire to uncover the mysteries hidden behind the curtains of reality and the self.
The COVID- 19 quarantine gave him a 360 degrees life turn around, when he decided to explore different states of consciousness. Beginning with daily meditation and yoga, he experienced for the first time the all-pervading Divine Presence, which led him to discovered, precious teachers, lineages and practices. Among those, he undertook serious apprenticeship in Amazonian and Andean Shamanism with the SachaRuna community which include rigorous and strenuous fasts, diets, retreats, etc. and has now been serving as full-fledged Shaman for years with great results. His innate compassion and devotion combined with great capacities and abilities enable him to catalyze, nourish, contain and bring to fruition people’s life changing transformation.
He’s committed to a new way of life based on presence, compassion and service, to achieve Enlightenment and lead all true seekers towards the same goal.
